On World Humanitarian Day, August 19 2020 the globe comes together to celebrate humanitarian operations and workers across the globe, who despite the odds, provide live-saving support to those that need it most. This year the World Health Organisation are working on the ground to fight the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and more recently, the horrifying explosions in Beirut, Lebanon.
This World Humanitarian Day, we are giving you the opportunity to help end global hunger and food insecurity. For every Coconut Bowl ordered on World Humanitarian Day 2020, one meal is donated to a person in need through the United Nations World Food Programme Initiative, ‘Share The Meal’.

Want to donate more than one meal? Further your contribution and purchase our Family Pack, which will feed a family of four for an entire day.
1 Coconut Bowl = 1 Meal
1 Family Pack = 12 Meals
Nobody should have to worry where their next meal will come from or when it will be, but this is a reality for millions of people, every single day. It was in 2015 when Jake Mckeon, Coconut Bowls Founder, spent a year backpacking the rice and bean trail through Central America and South-East Asia that his eyes were opened to the global food crisis. His experiences in poverty-stricken regions contrasted so harshly with the abundant life back home in Australia that Jake committed himself and Coconut Bowls to be a positive force for the health of people and the planet.
Our core Coconut Bowls values of health, sustainability and community are an essential part of everything we do and the best part, they wouldn’t be possible with you, our Coco Community! So we invite you to join us this World Humanitarian Day, in the global movement towards ending hunger and food insecurity. Every Coconut Bowl counts!
