For those who aren’t so into banana nice cream, this Bounty Smoothie Bowl is a perfect alternative for you. It is made predominately from frozen coconut flesh (we have included 1 frozen banana to add some natural sweetness however this can be substituted for more coconut). We’ve also included a handful of raw nuts for a protein boost as well as adding to the creamy texture.
This Bounty Smoothie Bowl will be perfect with a drizzle of raw melted chocolate and topped with vegan bounty bars for a decadent (yet healthy!) breakfast indulgence.
INGREDIENTS
- SMOOTHIE
- Coconut Flesh, 400 g
- Banana, 1 large (frozen)
- Raw Macadamias or Cashews, 1/4 cup
- TOPPINGS
- Raw Chocolate
- Flaked Coconut
- Bounty Bar
METHOD
- Combine all ingredients in a high-powered blender, blend until smooth and creamy.
- Transfer to Coconut Bowls and top with melted raw chocolate, coconut flakes and bounty bars. We have used Organic Brokenhead Chocolate.
