RECIPE BY NICOLLE MARIE FROM @VEGANMINDNSOUL

Blue smoothies are really popular recently. All thanks to the amazing superfood, blue spirulina, not only does it have tons of benefits, but the vibrant blue hue also reminds us of the ocean or the sky. Perfect for people who would love to bring some more colour into their day.

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup pineapple
  • 5 frozen coconut cream cubes
  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)
  • 1 tbsp blue spirulina
METHOD
  1. In a high-speed blender, blend all your smoothie  ingredients until smooth, creamy and lump-free.
  2. Serve them in your favourite Coconut Bowls and top with your choice of toppings.
  3. Enjoy!
