Colourful pastel smoothie bowl coloured with superfood powders to achieve the pink and blue hue. This smoothie tastes fruity and has a creamy and velvetty texture - perfect for a sweet breakfast or a refreshing snack during the day.
INGREDIENTS
- 6 frozen bananas
- juice of half a lemon
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2tsp almond extract
- 1 tsp pink pitaya powder
- 1/2 tsp blue spirulina
- a splash of plant-based milk
METHOD
- Add all the ingredients (except for the pink pitaya powder and blue spirulina) in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
- Remove half of the smoothie base. Add the pink pitaya powder in the blender and blend well. Divide the pink smoothie into two Coconut Bowls.
- Return the remaining smoothie base in the blender and blend in the bue spirulina.
- Divide the blue smoothie into the two Coconut Bowls and lightly stir to create a gradient effect with the pink and blue smoothie.
- Top with more yogurt, fresh strawberries, and cashews for crunch!
