RECIPE BY NATURALLY HERBAL MAMA
Transform your hummus into this delicious and vibrant dip that your guests won't resist! Roasted beets adds a depth in flavour and aroma. So ready your chips, bread and veggies, and dip in!
INGREDIENTS
- 2 medium roasted beets diced into 1-inch cubes
- 1 1/2 cup chickpeas
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice or juice of 2 lemons
- 2 whole garlic cloves
- 1/2 tsp smoked salt or pink himalayan salt
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley
- 1 tsp fresh thyme or 1 sprig
METHOD
- Blend all ingredients together until smooth and creamy. Garnish with a drizzle of olive oil, fresh thyme, and salt & pepper to taste.
- Serve in your favourite Coconut Bowls with fresh veggies or pita.
